This was the second commercial we made, shortly after we made Weird Science, and was due for Jon's class. It was basically a last minute idea, but still turned out pretty funny. We came up with sort of a dry humor commercial. Unlike formula 99, this commercial was going for a little more realistic approach, with some sort of CD player. Technix G-Processor, I don't know why a CD player would be called that, but that's what we came up with. I contributed mostly to the camerawork and editing for this video, while Jon came up with the idea and, him and Dillon performed it out together.
Unfortunately, Jon's idea called for a beach setting where a man would be sitting at the beach listening to his CD player, but we couldn't get to any beaches near by. That didn't stop us though. Instead of going to the beach, we used Dillon's back yard, because he had a pond in the back, yet we live in Wisconsin, and this video was made in the middle of winter! So the pond was frozen solid, and it was freezing. Did that stop us either? Nope lol. We laid out a beach towel on the grass, and had Dillon relaxing in the middle of winter next to a frozen pond.
Either way, the video is still funny. The sheer fact that none of it makes any sense is what makes it amusing. Enjoy!
